James "Jim" Terry Derigiotis, 67, of Rossville, went home to be with our almighty Father on Monday, March 6, 2023 in the comfort of his own home. He was born in Detroit, Michigan on October 25, 1955 to the late, George & Christine Koumarelos Derigiotis, and had lived in the Detroit area for most of his life before moving to the North Georgia area in 1988. He was of the Greek Orthodox faith and also attended Grace Episcopal church for many years. He was previously employed with New York Carpet World which is now Shaw Industries as the Operational Manager for more than 40 years and then started Jaimie Transportation as Owner & Operator for several years. He was most recently employed with the United States Postal Service before retiring to spend more time with his family & friends. He was an amazing cook, loved his dogs, Bailey, Hudson, Odin and Hutch, was an unbeatable poker player and a true die-hard Detroit Lions fan. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, brother and friend that will be truly missed by all who knew him. He was also preceded in death by his uncle, Talley Koumarelos.

Survivors include his loving wife of more than 44 years, Mary Jane Donohue Derigiotis; daughter & son-in-law, Jaimie & David Agan; son, Michael J. Cutcher; brothers, Tony Derigiotis, Ted Derigiotis and Dean Derigiotis; sisters, Nickie Derigiotis and Joyce Gortat Herbeck and numerous extended family & friends.
